PARKING PROCEDURES

Effective 11/01/13, all employee parking requests requiring payroll deductiond must be directed to the Homewood Parking Office who will assist you with all of your parking needs.  This includes requests to start parking, stop parking or replace lost hang tags.  For new parking permit customers, the first month’s payment must be made via cash, check or credit through the Parking Office.

You may fill out the online application at http://ts.jhu.edu/Parking/Parking_Permit_Application/index.html or you may sign up for parking in person.  Once you pick up your parking hangtag from Homewood, parking garage access will be added to your microchip (black chip on the back of your badge) which you will use to scan into parking garage.

Please see the attached Step by Step procedures and Google directions to the JHU Homewood parking office.

The building ACCESS REQUEST FORM (attached) is to be filled out for all new hires or anyone needing access to the building.  It should then be filled out entirely and submitted to the Facilities Management Office; please distribute the form and this message to all managers/supervisors.

The Facilities Management Office handles all building access, self paid and department paid parking requests.  As stated on the Access Request Form form, please email Facilities Management keswickfacilities@transwestern.com  for replacement microchips, access changes, or self paid parking requests.

PLEASE NOTE - It is the responsibility of each individual to be familiar with the parking rules and regulations onsite.  Please note that if employees do not sign up for parking but are found parked on the premises, a citation will be issued.  Employees who pay for parking must park in the designated employee parking only; if parked in visitors, reserved or handicapped without approval, a citation will be issued. After two unpaid citations, the next parking violation will result in a boot.  Please review all parking rules and regulations below:
